These Terms & Conditions govern the use of services provided by Skip Bin Hire Melbourne (“we”, “our”, “us”).
By booking a skip bin or using our website https://skipbinhire.melbourne/, you agree to comply with these terms.

1. Booking & Payment

All bookings must be confirmed prior to delivery.
Full payment may be required before or at the time of delivery unless otherwise agreed.
Prices quoted include delivery, collection and disposal unless stated otherwise.
Additional charges may apply for extended hire periods, overweight bins or prohibited waste.

2. Hire Period

Standard hire period is 3–7 days unless otherwise agreed.
Additional rental days may incur extra charges.
Bins must be accessible for collection on the agreed pickup date.

3. Delivery & Placement

The customer must ensure safe and clear access for delivery and collection.
Bins placed on private property do not require council permits.
If placing a bin on public property (road, footpath, nature strip), council permits may be required and are the customer’s responsibility unless arranged by us.
We are not responsible for damage to driveways, lawns or surfaces during delivery or pickup where reasonable care has been taken.

4. Acceptable & Prohibited Waste

Acceptable waste includes:

General household waste
Green waste
Construction debris (bricks, concrete, timber)
Furniture and non-hazardous materials

Prohibited items include but are not limited to:

Asbestos
Chemicals or hazardous materials
Gas bottles
Paints, oils and liquids
Tyres
Batteries
Medical or biological waste

If prohibited items are found in the bin, additional disposal fees will apply and the customer may be liable for penalties.

5. Weight Limits

Each skip bin has a maximum weight limit. If the bin exceeds the allowed weight, additional charges will apply.

6. Overfilling

Waste must not exceed the rim of the skip bin.
Bins that are overloaded or unsafe to transport may not be collected until corrected.
Extra charges may apply if waste needs to be removed before collection.

7. Cancellation & Refund Policy

Cancellations must be made before delivery to avoid charges.
If a bin has already been dispatched or delivered, cancellation fees may apply.
Refunds are issued at our discretion depending on circumstances.

8. Liability

Skip Bin Hire Melbourne shall not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of our services.

Customers are responsible for ensuring the bin is used safely and lawfully.

9. Access & Collection

The customer must ensure the bin is accessible at the agreed collection time. If access is blocked and a return visit is required, additional charges may apply.
